Mike has a background in athletics with the highlight being a week at the Olympic Training Center in the spring of 1984 for the Western Olympic Trials Box-Off as a Middleweight.  He spent over 5 years in Nepal as a Medical Missionary, working with the poorest of the poor in this world.

Mike has been a Healthcare professional since 1991 and an RN for over 20 years.  He got into nursing to bring healing to the sick, the broken and the hurting people entrusted to my care.  He was given the opportunity to be involved in leadership and he led a hospital with a clinical ranking of 95th out of 97 hospitals corporate-wide, to a number one ranking in the continental US in one year.  Passion, vision and enthusiasm are the keys to unlock the impossible.  “Leaders aren’t born, they are made.  And they are made just like anything else, through hard work.  And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.”  (Vince Lombardi)

Many leaders are placed in their new position on an “interim” basis…without the leadership training needed to succeed.  I believe in the Dale Carnegie Training process.  John Buchan said, “The task of leadership is not to put greatness into people, but to elicit it, for the greatness is there already.”  Mike show a huge amount of excitement about the opportunity to help people elicit that greatness through Dale Carnegie Training.
